How Do Cookie Pick-ups Work?
For safety reasons, the exact pick-up address will be provided on your invoice and is not shared ahead of time. On your scheduled pick-up date, your cookies will be placed in my cookie cabinet on the front porch. The cabinet is protected from weather elements, and each order is clearly labeled with your name so you can easily find your box. I also have a Ring doorbell, and I’m happy to share that I’ve never had any issues with theft or customers accidentally picking up the wrong order. Pick-ups are designed to be easy, secure, and stress-free!
How Do I Place an Order?
Submitting an order request form does not automatically book your order. Once your request is received, I will email or text an invoice using the contact information you provide and hold your requested date for 48 hours. Your order is officially booked once payment in full is received. If payment is not completed within the 48-hour window, the date will be released and opened to the next request.
How far in advance do I need to submit my custom order?
I will always try to accommodate last-minute requests, but prefer at least a 14-day notice on most orders. However, when my calendar is full it’s full, so I will take orders up to 3 months in advance. I highly advise booking as far in advance as possible in order to ensure your spot is reserved on my calendar!
Do you make gluten-free or nut-free cookies?
I know, I know, it seems everyone these days is starting to become sensitive to something! I have two people in my household with gluten sensitivities, so I get it! Unfortunately, I do not offer gluten or nut-free cookies as I do not operate in a kitchen that is devoid of any potential contamination of these ingredients.
Why Are Custom Decorated Sugar Cookies More Expensive?
Custom decorated sugar cookies are truly handcrafted, edible art. Each order involves hours (and often days) of work—from design planning and baking from scratch to hand-decorating every cookie with individually piped details. Unlike mass-produced desserts, no two sets are exactly the same.
Pricing also reflects the quality of ingredients, the time-intensive decorating process, packaging, and the experience required to create detailed, custom designs. When you order custom cookies, you’re not just purchasing a cookie—you’re investing in a personalized, made-to-order product created with care, skill, and attention to detail.
Do you ship cookies?
Yes, I do! I can get my delicious cookies to you nationwide as I ship to the lower 48 states! Cookies are individually heat sealed for freshness and cushioned in a bakery box and placed in another box with extra padding for protection.
When I provide you with a quote for a shipped order, you’ll see a combined Shipping & Handling Fee.
- Shipping Fee: This covers the actual cost charged by UPS to deliver the package right to you or your recipient’s door.
- Handling Fee: This covers the cost of all the supplies we use (boxes, bubble wrap, packaging material, etc.) to ensure your order is packaged securely, and it compensates for the dedicated time I spend making sure everything is perfect before it leaves my home bakery.
I take extra care to protect your cookies on their journey from my oven to you or your recipient, but there is always a risk to having your cookies shipped through the mail. Small package carriers do not guarantee delivery date or insure against breakage or damages. Though the possibility is slim, the box(es) could arrive late, cookies may endure breakage/damages, or the box(es) could be lost in transit. Withers Originals will not be responsible for lost, late, stolen, or damaged packages. Please keep the possibility of breakage into consideration when deciding how many cookies to order.
I see you can print logos on cookies. Can I request any logo I want?
Unfortunately, no. Unauthorized use of registered logos or characters (e.g., Disney, Marvel, or sports teams) can lead to significant fines or federal lawsuits, and I love my little home bakery too much to run that risk! Please refer to my Intellectual Property & Trademark Policy for further details.
Do you offer refunds?
I put a lot of love and time into every custom order! Because my treats are made-to-order and require several days of preparation, I am unable to guarantee changes or cancellations once an order is placed. If something comes up, please contact me immediately, and I’ll do my very best to help. However, due to the perishable and custom nature of my cookies, please keep in mind that all sales are final.
