Hi, I’m April — the baker, designer, and heart behind Withers Originals.

If you had asked me a few years ago where I’d be today, “owning a cookie business” would not have made the list. For more than two decades, my life followed a very different path. I built a career in transportation and logistics, managing teams, systems, and operations in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure industry. It was structured, demanding, and predictable — and for a long time, it made sense.

And then… God did what He does best.

At the beginning of 2024, when I least expected it, He placed cookies directly in front of me. What started as a creative outlet — a simple love for baking and designing — became a clear nudge toward something entirely new. A 180‑degree turn I never planned, but couldn’t ignore. Doors opened, ideas flowed, and joy followed in ways that spreadsheets and schedules never could.

That leap of faith became Withers Originals, a custom sweet treats company specializing in decorated sugar cookies. If you can dream it, I can put it on a cookie. From celebrations and milestones to corporate events and meaningful moments, each design is created with intention, creativity, and care.

While my background taught me organization, attention to detail, and follow‑through, this business is about so much more than experience or skill. It’s about obedience. It’s about trusting God when the path doesn’t look logical. It’s about using creativity as a gift and a form of praise.

Every cookie I create is a reminder that God’s plans are often sweeter — and far more surprising — than our own. The highest praise for this journey doesn’t belong to me. All glory goes to Him, for placing this calling in my hands and allowing me to share a little joy, one cookie at a time.
